Julie Tedde - Head Coach

 

julie_tedde.pngFor many years, Julie and the team at Triathlon Response Group have been providing training programs that have helped hundreds of triathletes cross the finish line with smiles on their faces. Julie Tedde has a wealth of experience in Triathlon Coaching. Here are some of her career highlights:

 

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Triathlon Coach
  • Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach
  • Level 3 Triathlon National Technical Official
  • Bachelor of Education (Exercise Physiology Major)

Athletic / Triathlon Experience:

  • Over 10 years national and international racing experience.
  • Raced in events from sprint to ultra (IM) distance.
  • Represented Australia in the professional field at the 1991 World Championships; part of the Bronze Medal winning team.
  • Represented Australia in the professional field at the 1991 Japan Strongman.
  • Represented Australia in the age group team at the 1993 and 1995 World Championships; won a Silver Medal in New Zealand.
  • Winner of state titles and local series between 1990 and 1996.

Coaching Experience:

  • Part-time coaching since 1997.
  • Currently coach in the Bayside area, Melbourne, but also coach both Interstate and International athletes, by correspondence.
  • Athletes vary from experienced professional athletes, to age group competitors, juniors and beginners athletes.
  • Have coached over 100 athletes to ½ IM and IM performances, both nationally and internationally.
  • Have coached representatives in World Duathlon, Olympic Distance, Long course and Ironman races
  • 1997 World Championship Team Coach (Age Group).
  • 2004/05 Triathlon Victoria Coach and Educator of the Year.
